JML Film Corporation was founded in 2006 by J.M. Logan, a Visual Effects Producer, Post Production Specialist and former Make-up Effects artist.

There is a natural alliance of all aspects of Effects and Post Production, between art and technology. By analyzing the threads that tie these industries together - between Make-up and Creature effects, Visual Effects and Post Production technology, JML Film Corporation offers a completely unique approach to a variety of aspects of film production, and ties them all up in to one, neat package.

Make-up and Creature Effects and Visual Effects often work side by side in today's film world, and often to great success given that the departments compliment each other. JML Film Corporation specializes in bringing this combination together for excellent results by using extensive experience in both fields to combine them into one understandible, cohesive department.

With digital technology in Post Production becoming ubiquitous, the lines between what is Post Productiona and what is a Visual Effect are starting to become more and more blurred. Both utilize similar - if not exact - technologies, and an understanding of production workflow both inside and outside of the world of Visual Effects is a road to using existing technology to find creative solutions to all manner of production challenges. JML Film Corporation utilizes its understanding of these technologies to help guide the independent film maker through the complex process of Post Production by using those technolgies in a way that helps preserve and promote the creativity of the film maker in a way that matches what the industry demands in finishing, and without breaking the budget.
